The nursing staff were great. However, I would have liked the surgeon or other, to tell me what they had done in theatre on the day, and not have to wait 6 weeks till my next appointment. If this was a private hospital, I would know the details before being discharged. Because the surgeons at the hospital are working on a 'production line' - one in, one out, one in etc. I know there is not much time between proceedures, but maybe a follow up letter to the patient shortly after surgery to explain things. Thus giving the patient time to digest this information and think about questions they can ask the surgeon at their next appointment. YOU should always think about how YOU (or someone close) would want to be treated and what information YOU or they would want.

Day visit for vascular surgery by Mr Perricone and Dr Lie . The treatment I received could not have been better. The procedure was carefully and clearly explained throughout and all the staff were friendly, efficient and caring.

the staff looked after me wonderfully the only thing i did not like was the coffee so if that the only thing i found wrong it cant be bad my time on ward 23 was just brilliant i give all the nurses A +
